So I acquired the Urban Decay NYC Palette and a Too Faced eyeshadow  in Label Whore  this Christmas and i am so excited about them.  These are the first higher end eyeshadows I’ve ever had and I’m impressed, they blend amazingly and have a great texture.  However there are a couple of things that I’m not absolutely in love with, like the chunky monkey glitter in a couple of the UD shadows like Uzi, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again (Although it seems to have less than the original Midnight Cowboy), and Maui Wowie, though if you tap your brush lightly before applying those some of the glitter flies off the brush.  Also, there is only 1 matte eyeshadow in the whole palette (Perversion) different finishes would be nice, but I totally love all the colors in this palette.  Now some pics:

This palette came with a mini UDPP and 2 mini sized 24/7 eyeliners one in Zero (which I’ve managed to lose, so flipping mad about that), and the other is in Ransom.  Ransom is such a beautiful color and it blends nicely and goes on so smoothly  I <3 it.

Up next is a look I did using Kush on the eyelid, Haight in the outer corner and lower lashline, and Loaded to darken the crease.

It was actually a little darker IRL, but this is what you get with a cheap camera

          So for this I used Haight on the eyelid and Too Faced in Label Whore in my crease and lower lashline.  Oh and if you can see it I have Sally Hansen in Rockstar Pink on my nails and it seems to be a good dupe for OPI Sparklicious.

Blush crush and a HUGE 40% off sale

I always have problems finding a blush that looks good with my SUPER pale skin with pink/blue undertones and freckles. Everything is either too peachy, too red, or just plain bleh. I longed to find a light, but bright, pink blush that gave me a natural flushed look.  Kind of like this:

FOTD and NOTD

So its about time I get some makeup on here!  I just never remember to take pictures of my makeup before Iget too tired to be bothered with it.  Not today, go me! Ok on with the pictures

First we have Nails.  I used Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro as a basecoat, CQ All Heart all over, then faded in the Finger Paints in Key to My Art, then China Glaze Party Heartyon top, followed by the Rimmel clear coat again.

Now for the Makeup.  I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, then a gold colored eye crayon as a base (mine was a Dollar Store find), Beauty From The Earth (BFTE) Emerald as the overall eyelid color wet, and in the crease I used a black with teal sparkles called Back in Black from a company I dont remember right now, I’ll comeback and update later.  Finally as a highlight I used a sheer gold sparkle, and also used that in the inner corner.  Eyeliner is a felt tip eyeliner from Physician’s Formula and Maybelline Falsies Mascara.

The green gives me a whole Christmasy look that I’m lovin right now (my favorite holiday).  Btw don’t you just love that awesome piece of hair that’s suck on my nose? Yeah I just LOVE it…..not, oh well.  Till next time!

Fall is My Favorite Season

Well today didn’t start out as the best of days (long story), but it has ended great.  I love fall, its weather is perfect, although South Carolina certainly has the mildest winter I’ve ever exprienced…its still in the mid 70′s, while we were in Alaska it was usually 20 below.  Definately like this much better, anywho back to topic, we were outside this afternoon and Drew was playing with his remote control car, and Tierney (who will be 4 in less than 2 weeks!) decided to have a party with the leaves.  It was the cutest thing evar!  Ah, to be a child again.

And in other news, Kirby Epic Yarn, is the freakin cutest game I’ve ever played!  If you haven’t played it, Kirby is transported to this world where everything is made of yarn, the background is so colorful, and it looks like a quilt or something, everything looks sewn or is made of yarn.  Oh and he also gets to turn into other objects like UFO, fire engine, and a train.  Yes, it is awesomely cute.. and here are the pictures

I wonder if a certain couple will be in Oklahoma this Christmas?
